Get Close

This weeks challenge was "Get close take a picture of something ordinary fill the frame". Ultimately this week I was in my comfort zone (unlike last week where I had to actually interact with real people). My week has a theme running through it as well cause I have been doodling again this week trying to get my artistic flow back into my fingers, hence all the pens and pencils. The hardest thing was to find something 'ordinary' to photograph.

This pencil one was one I have been wanting to try for a while. I must admit I am really pleased with this although I will try it again as soon as I can find a square glass container as there is a refraction on the left with using a glass for this.














It also seems great minds think alike (although maybe I should have cleaned my fountain pen first.........although maybe not its character!)











I have been feeding my stationery fetish this week with trips to the art shops and now have a great selection of coloured pens. Might have to play and do drawings of some of these.
