Nature and Nuture. I really enjoyed taking these in my back yard. It was a great opportunity to use my Macro Lens and wrestle the Tripod into the right positions (it's an animal!)

Heartsease or Wild Pansy grow abundantly in our little garden .

These little bugs live happily through the winter and are now in mating mode.

A common lizard suns itself on our wall and as it is in breeding colours , I think it's waiting for a lady lizard to pass by.

In our herb garden there are many plants coming into flower after the winter. This is a Chive flower ready to burst and are edible as well.
