I have had a great time experimenting with 'live view' (not going to be using that one again) and with my flash (need heaps more practice than I have been getting still not confident with it at all) and I have spent the afternoon playing around in photoshop. Realistically I have had a very pleasant day with an awesome GRIT class where I pumped heavy weights and did such cardio as squat jumps, burpies and jack knife pushups (ok my pushups still suck but are getting better) and the fitter I become the more camera equipment I can carry around with me (at least thats my excuse for buying more lenses).
I am also adjusting to new glasses this week (yes finally got around to getting some new ones the crack in the old ones was starting to give me migraines) so I am hoping my post processing is ok as I am adjusting to where I look through these for each computer/tv/book. I have spent the afternoon of my relaxing day playing in photoshop and I did play with everything so my post processing is a bit more fun than my normal ventures.
So without further adieu here is my take on Clockwork and Mechanical:
The 'Mechanics' of a rose
(yes this was one of my Valentine's roses)
Mechanics 102
Mechanics 103
Ok so I took a little play on words and stole some items from the garage to see how good Mick's memory is. I was going to be really cruel and crop in nice and tight to the third one but I liked my effect too much on the brass.
I am looking forward to March - Churches and Cathedrals - I have already gotten some ideas and saw a great church when we drove to work one morning but now I can't remember where it was. We are also in Melbourne this coming Saturday and am there again on March 18 so might get some night shots that night.
