Whether the weather is hot,
Or whether the weather is not,
We'll whether the weather
whatever the weather
whether we like it or not.
When this months topic was given that was the first thing that jumped to my mind, and truthfully I was looking forward to it. October is usually blue skies and spring days here so I had lots of plans and lots of shots that I had storyboarded to do.
However.........best laid plans of mice and men and all that........
We had mini-tornadoes in Ararat, snow in Daylesford, sunshine and bush fires in Sydney and hail storms in Ballarat. So one extreme to the other. Unfortunately the only one I was up and around to capture was the hail. Due to unforeseen circumstances I spent two weeks of the month in and out of doctors............and typically when I was unwell we had gorgeous sunshine, when I was up and around its been grey miserable skies. I always find the light so blah (there is no other word for it but blah) when all the sky is grey and dreary, it hasn't even been dramatic enough to warrant black and white shots.
So not quite what I had pictured in my head at the beginning of the month and I had made the mistake of keeping my camera on jpeg (I had been shooting pictures of our new simulator for work) so I didn't have the full RAW file for my post processing :(
Hail although I stayed under cover
Not snow from this month but one of my favourites from France
Murphy's Law will out me this week I am sure. I am willing to lay bets on that as I have posted before the last day of the month we will have either blue skies or tremendous thunderstorms this week just to prove me wrong :)

Love the one taken on your phone, not sure about the hail, I also struggle with this type of photo, can see it in my head but unable to get it in the camera. Must try harder for both of us I think.
