Beauty Is In The Eye Of The Beholder

Due to the first world problem that is Internet failure, I'm very late to the party of this great topic. Sometimes a broad subject like this can be a fantastic chance to explore your own imagination & I must confess that I took so many photos I struggled to find any sort of pattern to my own thought process.

So back to the lightroom folders I went deleting pictures left right and centre before coming to the conclusion that a topic like this doesn't have to have continuity, doesn't need a theme as such so here are the things that I found beautiful...

Having come from a country where the rain is constant and a source of much moaning I now live in a place where the first drops are met with elation by many so this felt fitting.

Once again the weather showed its beauty, a simple Sunday walk in the park offered this reflection of Autumn's ravages, but the beauty is in the promise of Springs arrival.

The debate over development is global, the beauty of mans achievements or the ugly destruction of natures splendour? This photo was a snapshot in truth, but it made me think of a quote " There's a man up in a mirrored building and he just bought the world, we live in a beautiful world where we give bad names to beautiful things"

And Finally... The ultimate proof of the topic, we all see our own flaws, our own imperfections while through different eyes we are the most beautiful of things.
