Various Red



Lots of red this week with our first topic being RED I was actually thinking all the usual things - fire engines, post boxes etc but although the weather was gorgeous when I went to the gym this morning it was cloudy when I returned. Must say I hope my first born grandchild likes lego and Thomas the Tank as I am getting quite a selection of toys.
First off was Christmas decorations and no I am not ready to change from my purple/gold colour theme this year (although I might go purple/silver next year with black/silver the year after). Next (cause you can never have red without Ferrari Red) was a trip into the toy section and the only James we could find made lots of noise (Toot toot and mind my paint work). And nothing is right unless we can have a play on words in this house - Well Read - my faithful copy of The Hobbit which I have had since I was 8. I did have another couple of well read books but two (Gone With The Wind and The Autobiography of Henry VIII) fell apart and were unreadable with all the pages missing and the other Crosstitch was lent to family in the UK and I daresay it fell apart over there.
