Tumbling through the decades. I have a disadvantage here cos I've lived thru more decades than you !!



I was born in 1948 when the Olympics were held in London.



In the Fifties Edmund Hillary conquered Everest, Elizabeth II was crowned queen.



Also in the fifties The Birth of the Mini, this was to play a part of my life for any years.



The 1960's saw man go into Space and walk on the moon.

The Beatles took the Music World by storm in the 60's

They Think its all Over, it is now! England won the World Football Cup

Also in 66 The Vietnam war was in full swing.

The seventies see the birth of our 2 children and big changes in our lives.

Life of Brian," The most profane film made in Britain " and one of my favourites!

The 80's and the fall of the Iconic Berlin Wall.

The 90's sees the Americans at war in Iraq

In 2001 Mr Bush receives news  of the Destruction of the Twin Towers in New York.

The one consistent factor since 1948 is that somewhere in the world people are at war
