Texture

A varied month on this topic as I had known about it last month I actually took some shots specific for it in Singapore. This month all these photos have been processed in Lightroom 5 as I am working my way through learning the basics of it so I can totally ignore Bridge. I haven't had much of a play in Photoshop CC as yet that will be for July and some interesting layers shots I would like to play with.

June has been a month to 'get organised' and I have utilised it well with the hope that July will bring more time to spend with my camera as it is becoming more user friendly the more I use it in manual mode.

Our trip to the Grampians found this tree trunk that was thick textured bark

Along the beach at Singapore a short walk from the hotel

Still in Singapore at Gardens by the Bay these sculptures were everywhere and a lovely contrast of textures

Himalayan Rock Salt and Peppercorns (yes the Himalayan salt is better for you than sea salt and its pink)
